Shadow Strike Ability - Using Unreal Engine 4 (Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor)

Описание к видео Shadow Strike Ability - Using Unreal Engine 4 (Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor)

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor was a very interesting video game which introduced more advanced and creative game mechanics and at that time most people praised it for its innovation.

In this video we are going to break down “The Shadow Strike” ability and implement the same mechanics using Unreal Engine. This ability is very satisfying to pull off because it also gives the option to chain together multiple Shadow Strikes against various enemies in different places. Which ultimately gives a feeling of great power and it helps to kill as many enemies quickly.

I will show you the main parts of the ability and explain the underlying mechanics including the camera effects, teleportation, validating the target locations, visual effects and much more!

Anyone who would like to study furthermore about this game mechanic, I have added the Git hub link of the repository.

If you like my video or learned something new from it, then like, subscribe and share with your friends. What popular game mechanic breakdown/implementation would you like to see next? Comment down below.
