Join us for a magical adventure walk as part of the Izy Staffy Wolfpack heads to the beautiful Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria 🏞️🐾

We were meeting up with none other than Buffy the Mountain Slayer — daughter of Boo & Tommy — who’s now completed 55 out of the 214 iconic Wainwright Walks! Number 55 was Whinlatter, and we were thrilled to join her on it.

Coming along for the ride were:
• Buffy’s mum Boo
• Grandma Peggy (shotgun queen)
• Petra & her daughter Smudgekins
(Izy wanted to come, but this one was a bit much for our old girl.)

The drive was classic northern England: motorway mayhem and roadworks, then winding through charming villages into the hills 🌄 Smudgekins was car sick, but Buffy greeted us on arrival with tail wags and mountain-ready enthusiasm!

☕ After a coffee and treats, we headed up into the forest, across the fells, and took in the stunning views of the lake and surrounding peaks. Smudgekins gave us a heart attack going missing (only to reappear like nothing happened), Ian’s hat flew off in the wind, but spirits were high and paws kept marching.
