China Moses live at

Daughter of Dee Dee Bridgewater and of film director Gilbert Moses, China Moses was brought up in a world of music and theater. Initially known as a soul and R&B singer, she has never forgotten her jazz and blues roots. In 2010 the Ascona audience discovered her, together with pianist Raphaël Lemonnier, in a vibrant homage to Dinah Washington. After “This One’s for Dinah”, a Blue Note release, in 2012 China Moses released, together with Lemonnier, another successful record, «Crazy Blues » (Decca UMG), a tribute to the great blues and soul singers. With a voice that she inherited from her mother and her sense of swing, she has enjoyed a series of great successes across Europe, Canada, and Asia, performing alongside Dee Dee Bridgewater, funk artists such as Nils Landgren, and first rate orchestras like the WDR Big Band and the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg. She is about to release her sixth album and currently presents a brand new repertoire accompanied by new musicians.
