This video is how i made a gut hook knife that is used for hunting or for example in the game Counter strike go. The steel i used is high carbon steel marked as Bohler K720 (02), thickness 4.5 mm (0,177 inches).
Knife i made is for my sister as a Christmas gift. The handle is made from black G10 with red spacers. Sheath is from red kydex with black rivets.
For the production of the knife i used only common tools, because i did not have belt grinder. The only power tool i used was angle grinder and drill press.

In the first of three parts, is shown as i cut shape from paper template, make profile, and make edge bevel using jig made by Aaron Gough from Gough customs (   • How to make and use a filing jig for knife...  )and send blade to heath threat.

In the second part of the video came heath threated blade, which i polished and made the handle from G10, engraved signature on the blade and wanted to blacken knife chemically in FeCl3, which i unfortunately failed,
so all i had to polish the knife again and give it a satin finish. Last thing was sharpening by Lansky system and the knife was finished.
