Best Griffith Park hike in the heart of Los Angeles | East to West | Hollywood Sign | Wisdom Tree

After last week's 25 miles walk from Downtown Los Angeles to the Santa Monica Pier, I decided to stay in the city. In the heart of LA, there's one of the largest urban parks in North America, Griffith Park. It's mostly known for Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Sign, but what's really great about it, is that you can wander there for hours, setting your own routes, depending on how your'e feeling that day, choosing to walk up following the truck road or scramble up steep trails to the top of the few summits there.
My favorite route starts in the East, up to Mt Hollywood, Hollywood Sign, Wisdom Tree to Lake Hollywood, and offers gorgeous panoramic views, a great workout, and this time the weather surprised me with clouds, sunshine and walk in fog. On top of that, I caught incredible sunrise and sunset and it was just an amazing day in Griffith Park. I wonder if we all experience this place in a similar way.
