Here's a simple method for making archival wheat paste. This is great for making bookcloth, or for any process where you might want to reverse the gluing later, like photos glued into a scrapbook, or for making hinges if you're framing drawings or prints. BTW, the wheat flour that I mention in the video is just plain old all-purpose white flour that you can buy at any grocery store!

You can also make this paste with wheat starch, available here, which has the gluten removed. This makes it a bit more resistant to insects.
