Cryptolaemus montrouzieri larvae are great Biocontrol Agents for dealing with several Mealybug species. When applying them into a quarantine enclosure, I try to deploy in such a way that every leaf is supplied with a small contingent of larvae which will find their footing and expand from their initial entry point, seeking out their prey in multiple dense formations. This helps the larvae to clean up a single leaf much more rapidly and efficiently, and establishes the larvae immediately.
