Title: An Efficient Routing Protocol for VANET
====================================

Implementation Plan:
--------------------

scenario-1:-
=============

Step 1: We create a VANET network have 1- Road Side Unit (RSU) and 100 vehicles [Based on sumo model]

Step 2: vehicle placed based on the sumo traffic model and also the mobility of the nodes are also based on sumo model. .

Step 3: Perform the sample beacon data transmission between the nodes

Step 4: select the source and destination

step 5: Select the Forward nodes or path by using AODV

step 6: make a packet transmission between the nodes

[The process based on your requirement]

Step 7: Generate the graph for Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), delay, jitter, throughput, and normalized routing overhead.

===========================================================

s/w req:
--------
1)omnet++ 4.6
2)windows-7(ultimate-X86)
3)sumo-0.19.0 and above
4)inet
-------------------------------------

Note:-
========

1) we create three scenarios, in scenario-1 we perform the process as per above plan steps. in scenario-2 , we perform the process as per above plan steps but the routing protocol in step 5 is changed as OLSR, in scenario-3 , we perform the process as per above plan steps but the routing protocol in step 5 is changed as DSDV.

we generate the graph for all scenarios individually , based on it we can compare manually.

2) send the needed openstreetmap file in sumo configuration. if you do not send the sumo configuration, we will use the default sumo configuration file.

1) We use the omnet++, because compared with ns2 the omnet++ is an efficient tool for the VANET. because the integration of sumo with omnet++ is more efficient than ns2.
