I got this set on as a gift. Like always with classic sets, reviewing this set is a balance of MOC fodder parts against build that aren’t particularly good. I feel like these builds are particularly weak, even for a classic set. There’s no GPU or cleaver techniques, nothing that even looks very cool. the worm actually may be the weakest of all the classic set builds I’ve ever seen, the roller skates are very weak too. In terms of parts, I must say that they make a pretty pile with all the bright colors contrasting with the black. The big eye/sunglasses prints are unique to this set. The most rare element are some vibrant yellow pieces which are only in three sets, then there’s several other elements only available in 4 sets. Overall, these are not the most useful of colors, but you should be expecting bright stuff based on the name. The elements themselves seem descent, lots of bricks, either standard or modified mixed with fairly standard plates and slopes. Overall, I like the idea of this classic set more than the set itself. I think part of the issue with classic sets of this size are that it’s tough to build much with this size of bulk. As a result I will grade this set as a D+.
