There are three main spots to cut ✂️
•Nodes: These are the bumps where leaves/branches grow. Cut just above a node for new growth.
•The Top: Cutting the main stem to control height and stimulate side shoots.
•Side Shoots: The new branches that emerge from nodes after pruning.

CC: if you want to grow a better bush then you can't be scared to prune your plants I like to prune for a range of reasons including to control the plant size to encourage bushier growth and remove any ugly foliage and of course to propagate as well pruning works because you are disrupting the plant's hormonal balance if you remove an apical bud you will trigger the growth of lateral buds which will create a Fuller and bushier plant when pruning you can look for the nodes the side shoots or go for the top the sap can be a little sticky so don't go playing in it the Ficus plant or rubber plant is fairly forgiving so it is a great one to practice pruning on pruning and propagation are not the same and if you want to grow your cutting you need to take more than a single leaf
