Whiteless Pike (approx 660m) is an epic hike a bike -- involving some pretty hard work -- to get to the top. In the end its worth it and the descent is a cracker.

After descending down to Crummock Water you have two options, both of which involving hard graft. The easiest of these is left and Rigg Beck: insanely good piece of fast singletrack. The much harder option is turn right on the road and then climb up to Grisedale Pike. Beware though as this is seriously hard graft and doing both hike a bikes is tough even for fit folks.
