PRO- Best public schools in state of Florida.
CON-On the other side of that equation alot of people are moving to St. Johns County and it is causing overcrowding in these schools so there are a lot of new schools being built and this is causing rezoning for specific neighborhoods.

PRO- Amazing master planned communities for everyone's lifestyle.
CON- Builders snapping up land so you cannot build a custom home of your choice. Lots of HOAs & architectural boards. Only with mostly high end real estate do you have options to build custom homes around the $2 milllion mark and even some of those cases you have an architectural review board to contend with.

PRO- Great location to visit many other places including downtown St. Augustine, Orlando, Amelia Island, Savannah, Jekyll Island, Charleston.
CON- Everything is spread out and we have no real public transportation. Popular transportation in St. Johns County is by golf cart.

PRO- There are a lot of Publix grocery stores.
CON-There are a lot of Publix grocery stores.
There is still a lot of commercial development to be done in St. Johns including the largest outdoor shopping center in progress of development called Durbin Pavilion.
You would have to drive to Jax Beach or Mandarin to find a Trader Joes. It also can be a trek to find a Target.

PRO- There are tons of outdoor activities including beaches, St. Johns River, hiking, lots of parks, & dog friendly which means you can also take your pooch to the beach.
CON- St. Johns County has alligators, snakes, & wild pigs.
None of these are a real bother but more so the mosquitos and bugs during summertime.
