Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic of summer, 2020; we take on the laborious rebuild of our fly-in Alaska outpost cabin. The cabin's roof succumbed to massive snow loads from the previous winter. Piece by piece, we completely disassemble and rebuild this historic remote cabin.

The Pioneer Cabin Outpost is a unique lakeside retreat within close walking distance of a world-class salmon and trout stream in remote Alaska. We the owners also operate Wilderness Place Lodge, a deluxe all-inclusive, full-service fishing lodge located in the lower river. As part of our unique Alaska custom adventure bundles, travelers can spend 1+ nights at our main lodge and fly out to the Pioneer Cabin for a day float trip, or overnight + guided float/fishing back to the main lodge. The peace, wildlife and views are reminiscent of a simpler past. The history of this parcel dates back to 1917 when first established by the US Government as a patented gold claim.
