Liquid Receiver Tank Purpose for Refrigeration!

In this HVACR Training Video, I discuss the Purpose of the Liquid Line Receiver Tank on a Refrigeration System! The Receiver is commonly installed on split-type refrigeration systems that have a TXV. The Receiver is located downstream of the condenser and upstream of the filter drier, sight glass, and TXV. Supervision is needed by a licensed HVACR Tech while performing tasks as Experience and Apprenticeship garners Wisdom and Safety.
