You all have heard about the Alpana Gram of Tripura and may have seen many videos of that village in YouTube and other platforms. In fact the Alpona Gram of Tripura has been declared as a village of arts and crafts by the Govt of India. But what if I tell you that you don't have to go to far off Tripura to see the Alpona Gram? in fact it is only 4 and a half hours train journey away from Kolkata. Today I'll take you to Hatimara village in Hura Block or Purulia distict which is Bengal's own Alpana gram and it is as much vibrant and colourful as the one in Tripura. And you'll be amazed at the way the villagers keep their village spik and span.
