Budget Tactical Pens - Zebra Pens Torture Test

I think tactical pens are a good EDC item but is stainless Zebra pen as good as a more expensive purpose built tactical pen? I bought 4 different Zebra pen models, including the X-701 (Zebra calls that one "the toughest pen around") to do some torture testing to see just how tough they really are.
