Morningside Heights is a neighborhood on the West Side of Upper Manhattan in New York City.

This neighborhood contains one of the famous university in the United States: Columbia University. Founded in 1754, Columbia University offers numerous historical buildings (Low Library, Saint Paul’s Chapel) as well as sculptures (Alma Alter, Scholars’ Lion, a replica of The Thinker).

In addition to its student spirit, Morningside Heights also showcases iconic churches, neighborhood parks, lovely apartment buildings and Ulysses Grant’s Tomb.
