Cleaning HVAC Condenser

Cleaning my outdoor condenser unit for my HVAC air-conditioner.
Doing this maintenance as part of your annual maintenance will help your unit last longer.

What is a condenser anyway?
A condenser is a component of a larger sealed system, used in both refrigeration or HVAC. Cooling is achieved by collecting heat from one environment and transferring it to an environment where the heat is non-objectionable (i.e. outside for example). The condenser is where this exchange happens. Heat is transferred to a cooler evaporator (inside) and carried by refrigerant (typically) to outside your home where the heat can be transferred to the outside environment.

So, keeping this part clean and free of dust and leaves makes this heat transfer much more efficient. It helps also with making sure your system does not need to run as long to achieve cooling.
