In today's video we go through everything from start to finish regarding the 7.62 AK's in Escape from Tarkov, from light budget modding through to the different best in slot/low recoil meta builds for both the AKM and AK-103.

We start with a general overview of all of the different weapon choices that we can make, and explain why some of the AK's are worth more than others when purchasing them on the flea market. For new players, attaching scopes can also be an issue so we show how there are 3 broad methods of attaching red dots and other optics to the various AK series of weapons.

Diving into modding, to start we look at a hyper budget build that requires only level 2 traders to get some decent reductions in recoil for a low price, and then continue on to show some of the better parts that are good value.

Finally we check out the meta builds for the AKM and the AK-103, which have been nerfed quite badly in 12.9. The old best in slot stock the "Zhukov" is now nowhere near as good as it used to be, which caps out the recoil at 66!
