Piano Journey: 'Embrace of the Soul' by Martin To (@TqF.Production)

🎹 Embark on my humble journey of mastering 'Embrace of the Soul,' a beautifully complex piece by Martin To (@TqF.Production). You'd think playing the piano would be straightforward, but it's been a delightful challenge, much like herding cats. 🐱🎶

Since I picked up the piano seriously again a few years back, I've tried to make progress (later becoming releasing a video) every few months. This plan went on a slight detour during my 14-month stint across 30,000 islands. Imagine me, temporarily drafted, attempting to forge genuine and lasting friendships everywhere like a headless fruit fly 🪰 - while appearing having too big a smiley face from telescopes a thousand miles away from the perspective of professional birdwatchers. Apparently, a few days at home per month isn’t ideal for regular piano practice. Who knew how painful it was? 😅

As I start this new chapter, I was fortunate to come across Martin from @TqF.Production, a talented composer from my hometown. He graciously shared a piece full of surprises—complicated enough to keep me on my toes but thankfully not so complex as to cause an existential crisis. 🎢🤔

Working on this piece has been rewarding, akin to my experiences with 'Anti-ares,' 'Sonatina Parodia,' and 'Anima.' I'm hopeful this will become a staple in my repertoire as I continue to grow and share music wherever I go. ✈️🎹
