Shane: Hey guys, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be installing baggage door latches. Typically, you would see these on doors that fold up to hold the door up, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be put on there. These are going to be great replacements if yours are broke, and you can see this door is going to open this way. And our customer, when he's getting stuff out, doesn't like the door closing. He wants to be able to hold it open.

So a windy day, you got the wind blowing this way, it's irritating when that door is closing on you, when you're in there trying to get stuff out. So we're going to install this on the sidewall to hold the door open. It's going to come with the hardware and it's going to come with two of these. So we'll go ahead and get one put on this one.We're going to open our door all the way. We're going to take this.

What I'm going to do is center it in the correct position. We're going to get it up against the wall centered on our door. I'll just mark it on the wall. One on there, sure we're straight. We can install the next one.

Just like that. You're going to install any other ones you are putting on the exact same way. That's going to hold your door open. Keep the wind from blowing it when you're trying to get any of your luggage out of your storage compartments. It's going to be spring loaded.

So, when we're not using it, it stays nice and flush up against the wall. Durable plastic and it comes with the mounting hardware. That's going to do it for look at and installation on the baggage door latch by JR Products..
