Shark Siege - Together Survival | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Today we archive a game that I thought had an amazing concept that is simple yet has a lot of potential. The premise of Shark Siege is that you and a couple of friends are on a tiny boat in the middle of the ocean and a hungry shark is trying to destroy your boat and eat you. Its basically the last 20 minutes or so of the classic movie Jaws.
In order to defeat the shark you will have to go into the water and collect resources in order to craft weapons or items to repair the boat with. Now this concept alone is I think very promising and can create a lot of tense and exciting moments. Having to fight off the shark as your boat is sinking or when you're running out of supplies gets the blood pumping as you work together in order to survive.
The end result does, however, requires a bit more polishing. The controls can be a bit clunky and the graphics are not that special, but those are things I can cope with as long as the gameplay is exciting. One issue with the game is that the same resources are required for both repairing the boat and making harpoons. This creates a problem as you often need to fix the boat and thereby use resources that you otherwise need to fend off the shark. It would have been better to add different resources so that you can focus both on repairing the boat and also fighting the shark.
There are crates that you can open in order to get harpoons, but the contents are always random and it can take a very long time for you to make the harpoons. I do still think that the concept is awesome and would love to see it maybe patched and polished into the future or have a bigger team make a game that has a similar premise.
