Bungie's Oni story Summarized ( Bungie classic )

A look at the story and lore of Oni, with a few comments about Oni's gameplay and design in the opening. Oni was a third person shooter hybrid that was developed by Bungie West, a division of Bungie, and released in 2001 releasing only a few months before Halo: CE. . It was Bungie West's only game. With Oni Bungie created a unique combination of shooter and brawler.

Oni has a persistent mod community that survives to this day. Oni was technically the first Bungie game to really lean into cinematic storytelling. Myth: The Fallen Lords and its sequel only really flirted with it.

The intention of this video is to provide an accessible, broad, fast paced, and quick to consume version of the story of this Bungie classic for audiences not familiar with the game. A quick recap of the games story. But hopefully the experience is enjoyable for long time fans as well.
