Heart-Pounding 1000 Mile Airstrike in the DCS World F-14A Tomcat!

Hey guys today's mission is the first mission we have run on the brand new DCS Kola Map from Orbx! This mission is part of a sub-campaign and story of our overarching Operation Burning Sands Storyline and Campaign!

Originally this new Operation Burning Sands Universe (for lack of a better term) was created to bring the old Strike Fighters series of games to life within the framework of Eagle Dynamic's DCS World. But it has grown far, far beyond the one little page of lore in a booklet that came with the original games.

This mission depicts the memories of the Director of the CIA and the Minister Of Intelligence in a Top Secret operation to prevent a nuclear strike on the Kingdom of Dhimar by a Soviet Rebel faction lead by an Admiral of the Northern Fleet driven to the breaking point by grief for his family and the crumbling Soviet Union. The storyline is of course inspired by the amazing Hunt For Red October!
