IMPORTANT NOTICE
SUBJECT: OPENING OF PORTAL FOR POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR
Sc/ST/OBc (FRESH AND RENEWAL CASES)- www.scholarships.gov.in
1. All the students of Himachal Pradesh (HP) belonging to SC/ST/OBC category admitted
under Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/OBC (Fresh and Renewal Cases) are
required to fill online SC/ST/OBC Scholarship Applications at www.scholarships.gov.in
(National Scholarship Portal). The last date to submit the application is 25th October
2021.
2. Apply at www.scholarships.gov.in
3. Following documents are to be uploaded on the portal while applying for both Fresh
and Renewal Scholarships:
a) Student Photo.
b) Income Certificate (in the name of FATHER) issued by the Competent Govt.
Authority (not below the rank of Tehsildar). Income should be less than Rs. 2.50
lakh per annum.
c) Himachali Bonafide Certificate.
d) Matriculation DMC.
e) 'Previous Academic Mark sheet' passed with at least 50% marks.
First (1s) page of Bank Passbook in the name of student linked with Aadhar Card
Number.
g) Fee Receipt of current course year.
h) Aadhar Card.
The size of documents must lies between 100kb to 200 kb. If the size of uploaded document is
below100 kb, the application of the student will not be considered by the Portal.
4. Following things need to be selected carefully:
a) Name of the University:
b) Scholarship scheme is to be selected as applicable to the student respectively:
i. Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students ONLY
Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (ld: U-0900)
FOR SC CATEGORY STUDENTS.
ii. Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students ONLY
FOR ST CATEGORY STUDENTS.
Note:
1. All students who are applying for Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship Scheme
for SC/ST/OBC Students are required to give an UNDERTAKING regarding scholarship.
2. All the students who failed to fill the application last year or whose application had been
rejected last year can also apply as fresh applicant.
3 All other old students whose application has been successfully verified at State Level
have to apply as renewal case with their previous years ID.

FOR OBC CATEGORY STUDENTS.
5. Before final submission, applications are to be checked by Mr. Roop Singh, Assistant
Director (Student Welfare) and Nodal Officer, NSP (Mob-94633-60383).
6. After successful submission of online application, the students are required to submit
the print of the application along with copies of all the documents and ORIGINAL
INCOME CERTIFICATE in Registrar's Office before 25th October 2021 positively.
7. If
any student fail to fill the Scholarship Form within the stipulated period, he/she
shall be responsible for the same and he/she will have to deposit the fee as applicable
to General Category students as per Sant Baba Bhag Singh University norms
