6月首場地理空間資訊專業講堂——「空間數據的重要性」在6月3號下午4:00至5:30完滿結束，講堂以線上形式舉行。

當天有幸邀請香港地理信息系統學會前會長、香港大學城市規劃及設計系客席副教授鄧兆星博士，以及香港地理信息系統學會榮譽秘書長、嶺南大學科學教研組助理教授王沛欣博士作為講師‍，向公眾、尤其是初創企業及學生，介紹地理空間數據及空間數據共享平台(CSDI)的重要性，希望學員能夠進一步認識如何運用空間數據作地理應用。

The very first Professional Geospatial talk, named “Importance of Spatial Data", was held successfully yesterday, 3 June 2021, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
We were glad to invite Dr Kenneth Tang, former President of HKGISA, and Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Urban Planning and Design, University of Hong Kong, and Dr Paulina Wong, Hon. Secretary of HKGISA and Assistant Professor, Science Unit, Lingnan University, to be our lecturers to introduce the importance of Spatial Data and Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) to the public, especially for the start-ups and students, aimed the participants to understand more on how to apply Spatial Data for geospatial applications.
