I am a huge fan of music.

I spend loads of time listening to it, learning lyrics.

That's why I care so passionately about what happens in the music industry.

I'm Hannah Devaney, and I'm a writer, disability advocate, and an Actress.

And I was just on Twitter as I normally am, because I was raised by the Internet, and I saw some of my friends and fellow disability advocates expressing their concern and sadness over the lyrics of a new Lizzo song.

So, I went and investigated and sure enough there was the slur spaz, which is obviously short for SPASTIC, which directly links to my condition, spastic cerebral palsy.

So, I tweeted, which I've done thousands of times, It took me less than 5 minutes to write, and then my phone blew up.

And then the world's media wanted to know who on earth had encouraged Lizzo to change the lyrics.

So, I had the very casual like BBC and the New York Times requesting interviews.

And then six weeks later, Beyoncé used the same slur in a song, and someone sent me a tweet and was like, So you going to call her out, too?

So, I did the same thing and then within like two days she changed it and then the world knew who I was.
