A first for YouTube, this rare VHS program was released back in 1990, presented by expert modeller Peter Exell, he demonstrates how any new model railway enthusiast can build a realistic model railway in complete detail.

Each step is fully explained and includes advice on materials to use, tools required, construction of the baseboard, laying tracks and building the landscape.

The model is based on the popular OO Scale and makes fascinating viewing for junior or expert.

Also includes footage from the Dart Valley Steam Railway, and at the time of its released, was approved by Hornby.
