LIFE CYCLE EXTENSION SERVICES

Linjebygg develop, install and maintain insulation systems in order to protect installations and avoid energy losses over time. We provide installation, repairment and removal of all types of insulation required for all classes, i.e. thermal (hot, cryogenic), acoustic and fire protection.

Scaffolding
Linjebygg develops innovative scaffolding solutions for the very demanding industrial environment. Our scaffolding engineering teams are able to design any solution required by our customers.

Surface treatment
Linjebygg is an expert in the field of high-quality corrosion protection, possessing an exhaustive knowledge of all types of coating systems and application methods.

Concrete rehabilitation
Linjebygg AS has performed casting, inspection and repair work of offshore concrete structures since mid 1990ties. Combining rope access technique (RAT) with various temporary working platforms gives a very cost-effective access to the whole structure compared to using scaffolding. We have a pool of 25 skilled workers performing various offshore projects, and two senior engineers supporting the projects from back office. Linjebygg has more than ten operators with RPK2 certificate of competence, and one engineer with RPK3.

Rigging
Linjebygg provides customized methods and equipment for lifting and rigging operations in difficult to access areas. This type of work requires both the specialist knowledge of the engineering team and the multi discipline skills set out of our workforce executing the complex lifting and rigging operations.

Rope access
Linjebygg has been a pioneer in developing and implementing rope access techniques for inspection, maintenance and modification work at difficult-to-access areas on oil & gas installations in Norway and internationally. In combination with customized working platforms and advanced rigging methods, our multi-skilled rope access teams can save significant costs for our clients.

Cutting and removal
Linjebygg has designed different versions of diamond wire cutting equipment. These saws may be used both topside and in the splash zone, to a depth of 20 m or more, without the support from ROVs. The same diamond wire cutting equipment is suited for cutting at even deeper depths below sea level.

Flaretip replacement
Linjebygg has been a pioneer in developing temporary lifting and rigging systems. In 1995 we did our first flare tip replacement without helicopter assistance by use of light lifting equipment, and since then we have executed a range of similar projects world-wide – both onshore and offshore.

Wind turbine maintenance
Linjebygg provides methods, competence and equipment for access and maintenance of wind turbines, both for blades, towers and other areas with difficult access.

Inspection
Linjebygg is utilizing conventional NDT methods from the highest points on the installation and down to the splash zone. By use of rope access technique (RAT) the work is done fast, safe and cost effective. Our highly qualified operators are multiskilled and thus can be utilized for other tasks when needed.

Habitat
The Linjebygg habitat solution provides a flexible and modular work frame that guarantees appropriate confinement & pressurization. It allows naked flame and other hot work such as welding, cutting, sandblasting and TSA to be carried out without the need for a production shutdown. The habitat is certified for use in ATEX/IECEx Zones 1 & 2.
