Naomi's "Life's a Journey" flight |

Описание к видео Naomi's "Life's a Journey" flight |

Naomi's life journey has been more "interesting" than most of us can endure or anyone should ever experience.

Naomi, you are a true inspiration and standing proof that, despite emotional pain and hardship, it pays to stand up for what is right.

Please join me in this "Life's a Journey" flight, introducing Naomi to the pleasure of microlight flying.

We will depart from Kernan Valley Flying Club, head towards Newcastle, low-level along the coast to Carlingford Lough, and back home via Newry.

Be warned though...
There is a lot of laughing along the way...

Life has a habit of getting in the way and sometimes it feels as if you just hanging on and being taken for a ride. Totally out of control with no way to get yourself back on track.

The funny thing is, that you are not alone. Every single one of us has, at some point, been on the border of a mental health crisis. Some even went all the way...

My aim with my flying is to raise awareness of how "common" mental health problems really are.

I ask my passengers to share their stories and how they cope. While introducing them to the joy of flying, in the majority of cases the first time, a light aircraft.

Yes, some of these flights might be long and boring for some. But keep in mind, it is not about you. It is about the passengers prioritizing themselves and letting go of their stress and life struggles for a full hour.

DISCLAIMER: I am a "weekend warrior" National Private Pilot, I fly for fun and enjoy sharing my love for flying. I consider each flight a learning experience - I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve... Having GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self-analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve and am happy to share them. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive
