Dr. Gregg Dimmick talks about the famous cannon at the Battle of Gonzales. The source of the phrase "Come and Take It!" Originally a gift from Mexico to the town of Gonzales, Texas, to ward off hostile Apaches. Later the Mexican military sought to get it back, in an attempt to disarm citizens of Texas (called Texians, at the time).
