Kahror Pakka is a tehsil of the Lodhran District of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located 27 kilometres east of the district capital of Lodhran. The climate is very hot and dry in summer and cool in winter. The hottest months are May to September. The maximum and minimum temperatures are 46 and 28 degree Celsius respectively. The coldest months are December to February. During this period the temperature fluctuates between 21 and 5 Celsius. The average annual rainfall is 71 millimeters
Kahror Pacca also written as Kahror Pakka, is a very old town and is built by Raja Kailoon. Kahror Pacca has been part of tehsil Mailsi, which was annexed with Lodhran in 1924. Kahror Pacca town was in existence prior to Lodhran and thus is the oldest town of Lodhran. It is famous for its cottage industry, printed bed-sheets etc. Many residents of Kahror Pacca migrated to Bahawalpur State and made their name there. A fort with the name of Kehar was completed at the site (where now the Kahror Pacca Town is located) by Raja Kehar in the days of Amir Tamur. During the region the Mughal emperors, it was given to Kehr Bhatti to lay the foundation of the Town. In the history of Multan frequent mentions of Kahror Pacca can be found. Kahror Pacca had been dominating the political scene as most of the politicians belong to this area, It was given the status of a sub-division w.e.f. the first July, 1991. In 1875, its population was 4,000 persons and in 1998 it reaches up to 361,532 persons. Hindus dominated the area prior to the partition. Their Pacca houses, shops, bazaars and temples are still there. A railway line was laid on its northern side in 1910 connecting it with Lodhran. The railway station Kahror Pacca was constructed in 1937. With the passage of time urban growth was accelerated because of increasing marketing opportunities for agriculture commodities and in-migration of surrounding villages. The town was notified as Committee in 1870. Then the status of Town Committee was given to this Committee area in 1924 and then it was raised to Municipal status in 1952. The existing building of Municipal Committee was constructed in 1969. There are several prominent places of interests in Kahror Pacca which are Marrot Fort, Phulra Fort,Fort of Sardar Garh, Kahror Pacca Railway Station, Quide-e-Azam Park and Children Park.Important features of the town are listed in the table given aside:
