A Ha Ka Ma Na The Māori Alphabet Song was designed to teach new learners of the Māori Language the 55 different base sounds that can be used. It is sung to a version of the tune of "Stupid Cupid" a song written by Howard Greenfield and Neil Sedaka which became a hit for Connie Francis in 1958.
It is a fun song that is presented in a way that people can have fun singing in faster versions as the song progresses.
This version of the A Ha Ka Ma Na The Māori Alphabet Song is performed by the Hono Collective featuring Elias Ashby and Ms. Ava Walker.
