Scope & Content: Reel 1, prisoners are shaved, operate a printing press, work at brick kilns, blast rock in a quarry, apply crushed rock to a road bed, saw logs, plow, bale hay, cut corn, and fill silos. Reel 2, prisoners work on truck farms, tend livestock, build dairy barns, tend chickens, and construct barracks. Men are counted as they return to prison. Prisoners eat, are examined, exercise, and are interviewed.
