Jacoby Ford is recognized as one of the fastest players ever in the NFL. Ford’s career started at Cardinal Newman High School in 2001 where he excelled in both football and track, winning state titles and being named the Palm Beach County All-Star Game’s MVP and a second-team All-State player. As a senior, he recorded 22 receptions and 10 touchdowns. After having a notable football season and breaking records in the 40-yard dash at Fork Union Military Academy, he went on to attend Clemson University, where he continued to shine in both sports - smashing national records in track and becoming part of one of the greatest all-purpose duos in NCAA history. His 143 career receptions rank among the top in Clemson’s history. Ford’s four years in the NFL, playing for the then-Oakland Raiders, were full of outstanding moments, which included an average of 18.8 yards per reception his rookie year. Today, Ford uses his skills to give back to his community as West Boca High School’s wide receivers’ coach.

The Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame welcomes Jacoby Ford into the 2024 Induction Class.
