Here is the original version of Coven's "Light The Fire" studio track featuring my guitar tracks as recorded and arranged by yours truly - before they (and the track) were ruined by the powers-that-be.

Of particular noteworthiness are the "call and response" lead licks after each line in the verses. This is a common and effective technique used for ages in rock music. Once I got the "final" mix back, I was appalled to find that they were edited, rearranged, and some even removed. The way they are arranged in the "official" version makes zero sense whatsoever, not to mention that they're buried in the mix. I kept my mouth shut about it at the time so as not to cause waves; because I'm a team player; bla bla bla...

Compare this to the official version and you'll hear the differences - which are considerable!

I am only sharing this because it's the only way this will ever be heard. And I worked damn hard on recording them...
