Todays check in was great, I figured out were my castings from the feeding tray was going. There was about 1” of casting in the inoculating tray. I mixed them into the tray and added some fresh bedding to the middle tray. The feeding for today I gave pumpkin, figs, sweet potato peels, and pulp from the juicer. I added some more fresh bedding to the feeding area, eggshell grit, and homemade worm chow.

💡 Worm composting tip: Always freeze your food scraps first and cover your feeding area with castings or bedding!

📦 This setup is the VermiHut Plus, but I also have other systems like totes, a 5-gallon bucket, half a rain barrel bin, and even a shoebox worm bin!
