Please ignore my big gorilla arms and my inability to play guitar.

This is the first and second channel of the three channel Telegun Fatboy II 50 watt head. I'm running 6L6's in the power section of the amp. It's going into a custom made 4x12 cab loaded with two Eminence Super V12's and two Weber Legacy 65 watt M75 speakers (weird combo, I know, but it sounds good). The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Custom 68 Authentic with a DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF in the bridge plugged straight into the amp (only the bridge pickup was used). My almost 4 year old son comes in and ends the video by asking for some milk and shutting off the amp. The third channel is reviewed in video two.

The cab is not mic-ed, the audio is purely the internal mic of the Nikon D90 I recorded the clips with (so the bass frequencies are limited). The master volume is at 9:00, which is talking volume. Like all tube amps, it sounds better at 12:00 or higher but I recorded these clips at eight in the morning and the mic wouldn't have been able to handle the volume, anyway. All EQ's were set at 12:00 and then randomly tweaked. The gain settings on second channel were set to 10:00 and cranked up.

I mostly stick with a full C/G/F# chord progression across all three channels for two reasons; one, to give you base to compare the channels with and two, on the gain channels, to be able to play the full chord and arpeggiate the notes of the chord to show that the amp retains note clarity. I don't play many leads because, in my experience, any amp can produce good blues/rock leads, and I frankly suck at them.
