In a major development the Tamil Nadu government has given its nod to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption to launch a probe into the Adani coal scam based on the complaint of Anti-Corruption NGO Arapoor Iyakkam. Arapoor Iyakkam had accused Adani of indulging in a coal scam to the tune of Rs.6,066 crores during the previous AIADMK government. TNM’s Shabbir Ahmed speaks to Arapoor Iyakkam Convener Jayaraman Venkatesh on the details of the probe launched against Adani.
