Dr. Rosita Armytage is the author of Big Capital in an Unequal World: The Micropolitics of Wealth in Pakistan.

Dr. Rosita Armytage comes on the podcast to show the elite in Pakistan functions, from gifts to favours, form legalizing their businesses to Government subsidies, Dr. Rosita shows how the elite nexus in Pakistan is a private circle that restricts access to the masses and continues to grow rich as the masses suffer.

Dr Rosita Armytage is an anthropologist and the lead qualitative researcher on the 'Islands of Integrity' project. She is a Research Fellow at Durham University. Her research interests are elite networking and alliances, class and capitalism, and the informal structures that entrench inequality.
