This video captured the New Year’s Eve celebration in Venice, filmed at midnight on December 31st from Riva San Biagio, as the city welcomed 2026.

As the clock struck twelve, Venice turned its gaze to the sky for the traditional fireworks display over the Bacino di San Marco. The pyrotechnic show marked the most anticipated moment of the night, accompanying the exchange of good wishes in a setting of rare beauty.

Designed to frame the midnight chimes, the fireworks illuminated the water in front of the Arsenale, with reflections dancing across the lagoon and enhancing the emotional impact of the celebration. Light and sound merged to create an atmosphere unique to Venice.
As in past years, the best views of the spectacle were along Riva degli Schiavoni, Riva Ca’ di Dio, Riva San Biagio, and Riva dei Sette Martiri, near the Actv Arsenale stop.
