Zoom has become the centre of most of our lives, but have you explored how it could be used as a filmmaking tool? Join industry professionals and independent freelance filmmakers from around the World as they discuss how to be creative, and keep making film safely on a low-to-no budget.

Speakers:
Timothy Chesney - Writer & Director
Timothy Chesney is one of the creator/writer/directors behind online comedy show, Charity Shop Sue. As a LGBTQ+ filmmaker, Timothy’s work centres around creating inclusive stories featuring unique characters, odd-ball groups crafted with heart and humour. Timothy specialises in D.I.Y film production creating original film content appealing to both online and TV audiences.

Ryan Colby - Talent Agent, Colby Management
Ryan Colby is the CEO and manager for models and actors in NYC, LA, Miami and Europe.

Gage Oxley - Writer & Director
Gage Oxley is a writer/director, and the managing director of Oxygen Films, a multi-award winning, non-profit, community-interest production company based in the UK. Gage's role involves working with international charities, young creatives and LGBTQ* organisations around the world to create challenging motion pictures that facilitate and encourage open discussion on some of the most difficult aspects of a modern LGBTQ* community. Their latest feature film had its World Premiere in Leicester Square and US Premiere a stone’s throw away from the Hollywood Sign, and recently released a hit queer six-part anthology show which is available on Amazon Prime.

Arron Blake - Actor, Writer & Director
Arron Blake is known for creating unique and compelling stories through film. Starting off as an actor, Arron now produces and directs his own work.

The 9th INDIs Film Festival, dedicated to emerging filmmakers and film lovers, returns for 2021 for the first time entirely online from 26 March to 30 April to inspire and help shape the future of the film industry.

Spanning over a month of digital screenings of the best in new independent cinema and three weekends of free masterclasses including script and story sessions from the makers of Four Lions and Waterloo Road, hands-on workshops with Nikon and trailblazing events, you can schedule your own Festival for when it suits you. With a huge range of guests from productions including Harry Potter, Batman Begins, Sex Education and Peep Show, the Festival has been programmed and designed by young creators, with the intent of championing young and independent filmmaking that breaks down the door, never-mind getting a foot in it.
