Picture Perception & Discussion Test is a part of the Screening test and is conducted on Day 1 of the SSB Interview. This test is about the perception of a given picture and then a discussion on it.

In PPDT, a hazy image will be shown to the candidate for 30 seconds. The candidates will then have 4 minutes to write a story based on the image shown.

Lastly, candidates will be required to narrate the story in group discussion and then the group has to come to a common conclusion.

Instructions:

~ You will be given 30 seconds to analyze the picture.
~ 1 minute will then be given to note down the details and write the action of the story. Details to note down will be Gender, Age, Mood.
~ Carefully observe the number of characters with their respective location, gender and age.
~ Choose the main character of your story and encircle it.
~ Moods: Positive (+), Negative (-), Neutral (0)
~ You will be allocated 4 minutes to write down your story.

PPDT plays an important role in screening.
