Gary Saul Morson is the Lawrence B. Dumas Professor of the Arts and Humanities and professor of Slavic languages at Northwestern University. He has been teaching literature and in particular Russian literature for 49 years. He estimates that he has taught 10,000 Northwestern students in his time. His new book from Harvard University Press is entitled: "Wonder Confronts Certainty: Russian Writers on the Timeless Questions and Why Their Answers Matter."
