Surf Perch Fishing Washington Kalaloch Beach Olympic National Park

Demonstration of how to fish for surf perch and variety of red tailed surf perch I found at this beach in the Olympic National Park on a given day. This is directly at Kalaloch Campground beach.

Surf Conditions 5.5 - 6 foot for the largest waves out in the distance. This eased as the day progressed. 4 ounces was ideal weight on a high-low rig but also used 3 ounce for a short time and it was not as effective.

Air temperatures between 36-45 degrees. No wind.
