Pakistan Army mass bands display

This video is about Pakistan army mass bands display in which eighteen (18) brass bands and Nineteen (19) pipe bands participated. This was the largest band display ever organized in the history of Pakistan.
Pakistan Army has 18 x military bands (commonly known as brass bands) and about 250 pipe bands. GHQ Military band was established in year 2000 by taking the best bandsmen from other 17 military bands. This band is called General Headquarters Military Band and commonly known as GHQ Military Band.
2. This band has participated in different events at international level.Pakistan army band did its first performance in china in 2001. Later the band performed in Brunei Darussalam in 2008, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) in 2007, at National Day of Dubai 2014, in Russia at Spasskaya Tower in International Military Music Festival in 2015 followed by South Africa-Cape town 2015 and in Qatar in 2017. At national lvevel, the same band presents guard of honour to foreign dignitaries visiting president house, PM house, COAS and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee’ residences.
