2014小中高校生ボールルームダンス全日本優勝 | 渡辺安登 (Ato Watanabe)・石垣真衣(Mai Ishigaki)組(中学生), Winners | Honor TANGO

In this championship in Tokyo in 2014, Ato Watanabe won the 1st prize in close competition with Sota Fujii who was a class mate in the junior high school and a competitor of genius against Ato. Sota stood in the audience with biting his lips.
Ato and Sota became high school students and competed with each other in the final of Super Japan Cup and The Prince Mikasa Cup in 2016. Sota won the 1st prize in both competitions.
Sota and Ato stood again on the final floor of the Prince Mikasa Cup on October 8th in 2017.

2014年に東京で行われたこの競技会では、渡辺安登選手は、接戦の末、中学校のクラスメイトであり天才的なライバルである藤井創太選手を抑えて優勝した。唇を噛んで観客の中に立っている藤井選手が見える。２年後高校生になった２人はともにスーパージャパンカップと三笠宮杯の決勝のフロアに立った。いずれも創太選手が安登選手を抑えて優勝を果たした。２人は2017年10月8日再び三笠宮杯（第37回三笠宮杯ダンススポーツ選手権）の決勝のフロアに立った。

Ato Watanabe and Mai Ishigaki, both of them are junior high school students, won the 1st prize in the standard of the junior high school section (13~15-year-old) and 2nd prize in the high school section (16~18-year-old).

They also won the 5th prize in the Junior II 10 Dance section of the 2014 German Open Championships (GOC) in October at Stuttgart.
