Capt. Nyatora Thiang Gany

Capt. Nyatora is currently resides in North America for so many years with her kid. She originally from Nasir County in Upper Nile South Sudan but she left Sudan for Ethiopia due to Sudan civil war started in 1983 between North and South, after she the country Sudan, she just joined the movement and fought against Sudan Islamic domination north. She serviced in SPLM/A until rank of captain but she left the movement for abroad to find way to survives with her children.

In North America, Capt. Nyatora helps the all South Sudanese communities culturally and morally for maintaining the culture as a South Sudanese particularly the Nuer culture still alive in Western World because of her.

In the movement struggle, she supported the SPLM/A since 1983 until today but she has completely disagreed with the current government under President Salva Kiir after he planned the ethnic killing against one tribe Nuer on December 15, 2013 massacre.
On her song, Capt. Nyatora is highlighting the weaknesses and tribalism has shown by President Salva Kiir that "Salva Kiir is not legitimately a president of the South Sudan anymore but he is only qualifying to lead his own sub-tribe Dinka Bahr el Gazal".
