I love this life. Crazy busy days and all. It's hard work, but its heart work too. Breeding season for my Nubian goats has NOT gone as planned. Grant, my buck, has decided to not be interested in the girls until just the other day. And the girls, have decided that they need colder weather. It's just been a whole fiasco. Oh well! Everyone will be ready, when they'll be ready! Almost 2.5 years ago, I decided to give fresh goat's milk a try...our oldest child and myself have issues with cow dairy, and were thrilled that we could both tolerate goat's milk! Thus began the intense journey of building a little family milk goat herd. This grew a passion in me for raising high quality, good temperament, and well-producing goats. And of course, snuggling all the babies along the way.
