How to make rough edges in Adobe Illustrator!

In this short tutorial I will show you how to give your vector shapes a roughened, distressed edge in Adobe Illustrator. In this video I will explain a bit about appearances in Adobe Illustrator, a feature in which you can apply different types of effects, and even stack them on top of each other. This saves you the trip from going back to Photoshop to add a displacement map, as this method is way quicker and easier!
